Nikita sighed as her dark bay thoroughbred mare walked towards the entrance of the Meadow Trail. She smiled as her mare pricked her ears and began tossing her head, happy to go on a trail ride. Back in Africa, Nikita would take Abikanile for 4-8 hour trail rides, just to get away from everything. The one time, she dissappeared for a week in the wilds of Africa. Don't ask how she did it or why, she had no reason for her actions, causing her to be grounded for practically life. She hated all the english stuff and just needed to get her inner cowgirl out. She wasn't one to cry over a fall, she'd get back on and ride like it never happened. Nikita smirked as Abikanile looked back and whinnied at the pair, who were still standing at the stable door, talking. She rolled her eyes before calling out:
"Come on you two! Stop your flirting and let's get on with it!" She smirked, knowing she was walking a dangerous line, but did she really care? No... She patted the spirited dark bay, whispering,"Easy pretty mare, easy...." Abi tossed her head before half-rearing. Nik just sighed and leaned forward with her mare before sitting back as her mare pranced in the spot.

Versache snorted, pulling down his head to snatch at the bit. He was eager to go after the long trailer ride from Colorado all the way to Canada. Kevin understood. The gelding's legs must be stiff and sore after that hellish ride. He was just as thrilled to be there and settled in as the Oldenburg was, probably. He ran his large hand over the gelding's thick neck, gently tugging back against the reins to get the gelding's head back up. The last thing he needed was a run away horse while he was trying to make new friends.
Hearing a girl's voice call out, he glanced up to see Nikita having trouble with her mare. He grinned slyly at her words before letting Versache trot to catch up beside the darker colored mare. He slowed Versache back down to a walk once he was walking in time with Abi, letting his blue eyes fall on the mare. "She's almost as spirited as you, eh?" He grinned playfully, shifting his weight in the saddle. It was odd being able to look right over at the girl and have her nearly eye level. Typically, since Versache was so large, he'd have to look down to see other riders.
