On her way to the Breeding Barn for her daily check-up on the mares, she thought about the stallions. They needed to be worked and checked on too. Jo redirected herself to the Stallion Barn. The nieghs and whinnies from the lovely Appaloosa stallion, locally known as Splash, from his stall. He paced around in his stall. Back and forth, back and forth from the gate to his feed tub. The twenty-five year old decided that he needed to be worked. Giving him a quick brush down, the stallion moved around too much. This caused Jo to grab the boy's halter and tie him to the outisde of his stall. Once she was done with that she ran into the tack room and gathered his reining tack. Saddling the stallion with the large saddle and then tightening the cinch. Taking the bridle up over his face and behind his ears. Grabbing the reins she led the Appaloosa to the Reining Arena. From the ground, Jo used the horn of the saddle and the power from her left leg to boost her up into the saddle. Taking a few walks around the arena she moved Splash up into a trot for a few times, then to a left lead canter. Splash started to shake his head, and Jo felt a rear coming. She kicked him on into a gallop to try and fix his habit.
