Bahrani's viper-like head turned, his neck arching up and a loud squeal alerted the barn that he was in the building. He more or less pranced instead of walked, moving alongside his owner in smooth, flowing gaits.
Noctis definitely took pride in his beautiful Arabian stallion, who was incredibly powerful...And incredibly impressive. However, the horse had found a nice mud pit to roll around in. His usual clean fleabitten coat had patches of dirt all over it, and his owner couldn't help but need to make sure he was clean. Especially if he was going to offer his stallion at stud, he couldn't have him look anything but perfect.
Bahrani loved water. He couldn't wait to be tied up and scrubbed head to foot. Noctis couldn't wait to get him cleaned, either.
The stallion flicked his tail from side to side as he watched the man clip him to the cross-ties, his ears perking and his eyes growing wide with anticipation.
Contrary to popular belief, Bahrani was a well-behaved stallion. He was even reliable enough to put small children or beginners on. He just had his way of babysitting his riders. However, around other horses he'd get vocal. And that's where his reputation came from. Noctis reached a hand out and patted the horse on his muscular neck, and he immediately relaxed.
"Easy, kid," He whispered, and the horse dropped his head.
Noctis leaned over to his bucket of shampoos and all his bath stuff. He had a whole bunch of different items to use; ranging everywhere from a tea tree oil body scrub to hoof-moisturizing lotion, brushes and sponges to even more bizarre objects. It came with Noctis's obsession with keeping his stallion picture perfect all the time. Especially if Bahrani were to join the famed Cavalia, he must look perfect all the time. Turning on the hose, he allowed the horse to shift and get comfortable as he ran lukewarm water over the stallion's entire body. After wetting the horse to satisfaction, he dumped all the items out of the bucket and mixed tea tree oil with a bit of expensive human shampoo as well as a bit of a grey-coat enhancer so that it would turn into a rich, sweetly smelling lather that Noctis could sponge on and then massage into his coat to lift the dirt (and infamous green stains) off of his body. He took a sponge to his muscled body, liberally appplying enough to make the horse look like a bath day gone wild. Then came a curry comb for scrubbing. However, Bahrani let out a wild squeal as another horse was led up the aisle. "Shut it, Bahrani," Noctis hissed.
He then looked up to see another person leading a horse to use one of the other wash racks. "Sorry...He's the nicest stallion you'll ever meet but he's a drama queen and likes to be loud."
Of course, most people were used to seeing Noctis with his other horse, Link. The infamous trick riding horse that had a bit of an attitude problem. Then there was Bahrani, the jack-of-all-trades that was usually ridden in endurance. Either that, or amusing audiences with all the tricks he knew. His favorite was doing "impressions" of things. Nonetheless, it was strange to see the "Hollywood Prince" himself not doing something that involved drawing attention. Most importantly, it was more surprising to see that his horses actually got dirty.
Nonetheless, Noctis would try to be nice. It wasn't becoming for his artist personality to not be good with people.

Tugging gently on the bright teal lead rope, Aurora tried to get Adagio's attention back. Under saddle, he was the most wonderfully trained horse in the sport of dressage. Well, she may have been a bit biased, but he was a darn great mount, even the girl in the meadow had agreed. But the Freisian Sport Horse had been on his best behavior that day, a lucky break for her since she had been watched without even knowing. When they were riding together, she was in her own world, the riding zone. Just like Adagio seemed to be in for some reason now. His ears were pricked forward, eyes wide and alert. He wasn't usually so tense.

Raising an eyebrow, the red head began to glance around, curious as to what was causing his distraction when she heard a high pitched whinny somewhere not too far away in the distance. Adagio, the highly social animal that he was, raised his black nose high into the air, tugging on the rope her fair skinned fingers grasped as he let out his own whinny. Rolling her green eyes, she tugged him forward and out of his trance. She knew he was friendly, but why did he still seem so tense?

She knew why as they reached the wash racks. It didn't take much for her to realize the drop dead gorgeous horse cross tied was a stallion. Glancing to Adagio, she had to suppress a giggle as she watched him stand tall, muscular frame growing nearly before her eyes. Before returning her green eyes to the boy and horse, she heard a frustrated voice hush the grey horse. How charming. As her eyes landed on the male figure, she listened to a quick apology, though something about him seemed rather... not genuine. She raised a brow, studying the handsome boy for a moment. He seemed to think he was someone very important, though she had no idea who he was besides someone standing in her favorite wash rack. Her own well bred horse snorted, arching his neck, ears steadily kept on the Arabian. It seemed almost silly to see a dainty, white colored horse next to a large black one. Although she had to admit, for a fragile looking breed, the stallion was very well conditioned and looked as though he wouldn't break in half if she stepped on him.

"He doesn't look like much of a queen to me," she commented, eyes trailing lower on the horse before quickly darting away to look at the brunet who was diligently bathing the horse with... what, 50 different things? She studied his tools and products for a moment, then glanced down at her bucket, complete with a bottle of Mane & Tail and a sweat scraper. She found that oddly enough, hands were useful for something. How strange that man was given hands and they actually served a purpose.

She led Adagio to the next open wash rack, cross tying the still on edge gelding. She laughed softly, rubbing his thick neck affectionately. Letting her eyes fall back on the boy's bucket of goodies, she couldn't help herself. "I thought only horses could bathe here. If I'd gotten the memo, I'd have brought enough shampoo for the whole school, too." She raised a brow, a soft, playful smile on her lips.
