Nikita smiled as she walked into the Main Barn, a spring in her step. Her copper brown hair was up in a high ponytail, showing off her light blue eyes, who shone almost grey in the sunlight. Her tanned skin stretched as she walked through the stall aisles. She leaned against the stable door, Her thumbs looped through her jean's belt loops and her left leg crossed in front of the right.
A red candy-apple truck, pulling a silver 3 horse trailer, pulled up to the driveway and stopped next to the stable. "Abikanile!" A soft yell erupted from Nikita's curvy body as she jumped into a run. She skidded to a stop as she neared the back of the trailer. Undoing the lock and opening the door, Nikita got a nicker from the dark corner. "Hey pretty girl," She smiled and slipped inside.
After a few minutes, Nikita jumped out of the trailer, leading a beautiful 17'2hh dark bay throughbred mare. The mare snorted and tossed her beautiful star-striped head before following Nikita into the barn. The 5'6 girl smiled as she spotted a stall with a gold nameplate reading Listen Up " Abikanile". " Wow, very fancy, eh pretty girl?" Nikita smiled as Abikanile tossed her head in agreement before prancing in. Nikita latched the door shut before leaning against it and kissing the mare's soft nose. " Ok, I'll be right back, pretty girl..." Nikita whispered before heading back to the truck and trailer. With a soft tug, Nikita opened the tackroom door in the trailer and stepped inside.
A few moments later, Nikita came out with two saddle bags, four saddle pads, two bridles and a brush bag. She struggled under the weight but managed to get almost to the tackroom. Not really looking where she was going, She dropped her brushbag and stumbled over it. She hit the floor with a crunch of leather. She groaned before rubbing her head muttering, "Ouch...".

Taking a deep breath, the boy's worn leather boot hit the concrete floor of the barn. The smell of horse and hay hit his nose in an instance. It reminded him of home. Only, this barn was a bit nicer than the old barn they'd used back home. Only the highest value horses back home were stalled. And though Kevin knew his gelding, Versache, was the best bred horse on the farm, thanks to his dad, he'd never stalled the Oldenburg. He thought horses belonged outside, just like they were created to be. So despite his father's distaste for letting the bay run wild outside in any and all weather, he let Kevin do what he wanted with the horse. It was Kevin, after all, who had trained the gelding completely. And he knew his father was jealous of the huge amount of talent the gelding possessed that he now saw as wasted..
Kev shook his head, brown hair bouncing back and forth. He didn't need to remember why he'd been sent here. It was then that he remembered the gelding standing to his right. His blue eyes darted to the handsome, tall horse. His fingers tightened around the lead rope as he led the horse into the barn aisle. It was the day Versache had arrived, and it was time to get him settled. The gelding bobbed his head eagerly, his head being thrown from side to side as he eyed all the new, exciting sights. Kevin chuckled, patting the gelding, but his eyes ran down the stalls, checking the name on each stall plaque, searching for the name "Versache."
The sound of crunching leather and a thump caught his attention. He whipped his head around, catching sight of a girl who obviously had far too much to carry. Glad he'd taught Versache how to ground tie, he dropped the lead and jogged over to the girl. He knelt down beside the girl, raising an eyebrow. "One too many, huh?" He grinned crookedly, looking her over, more or less for injuries, but perhaps a small amount of "checking out" was going on. "Are you dizzy? Faint? Nauseous?" He paused, letting the words of concern linger before playfully adding, "Clumsy?"

Black dusty paddock boots clicked as they hit the ground as fast as they could. Audrey was at the dorm room trying to get everything settled since she wasn't going to be living in the same room as her sister, but she was going to be okay. Or well that is what she hopped for. She had looked out her window and noticed that their horse trailer was here and couldn't believe that Niki didn't even text or call her telling her that their horse's had gotten here.
Audrey came to a slow jog as she saw that Niki's horse Abikanile was already unloaded. Audrey walked around and smiled adn walked into the empty slant and began to unhook the grey gelding from the ties. Orion nickered when he saw her and she rubbed his neck and then walked out. She went to the back and unlocked the door and unhooked the butt bar.Sauvegarder(Back up) Orion, she said in a French as the gelding began to back up. Audrey took ahold of the leather lead rope of the 17.2 hh dapple grey Trakehner gelding as he shot up his head to let a nicker escape his muzzle.
Audrey had a light blanket on the gelding that read " Orion The Hunter" that was blue and ofcourse she thought he looked amazing in it. Grey auds picked up when he heard a somewhat loud crash as green eyes followed the grey auds and a slight pink smile laid across her face. As they walked closer into the barn Audrey knew it had to be Niki and as hard as she could she held the laughter in.Hey sis, did you manange to find that crack here too? A slight giggle escaped her lips as she looked at the boy who was trying to help her up. He was actual kind of cute, but heck she wasn't in the mood in looking for a boyfriend, but hey having friends was on her list.Clumsly is right, always finding them invisable cracks. She giggled again and then felt a slight tounge on the lead as Orion tossed her head. She nodded her head and walked Orion down the isle alittle and then grinned as she walked Orion into his stall and unclipped the lead and shut the stall door.
Audrey walked back over to her sister Niki and bent down. Here Niki, let me help you.She grinned as she bent down and went to pick up the dumped brushes. Audrey and Niki were twins, but could anyone tell? They was so different as Audrey looked more like their father and Niki looked like their mother. Audrey looked up to the boy with a grin,Bonjour, I'm Audrey and this is my sister Nikita "the cluts".She nudged her sister with her elbow as she couldn't help but to be nice and sweet as her sister made herself look like a fool. Usely it was the other way around, but luckly she wasn't the one tripping over cracks.

Nikita's copper head shot straight up as she noticed a boy standing over her. She laughed a little at his comment before replying,"No just clumsy..." She stood and arched her back before looking over at her sister, who had happened to be walking by. She smiled before shaking her head a little,"Thanks little sis..." She grinned before turning back to the boy as Audrey introduced themselves to him. She rolled her eyes before smiling as Abikanile nickered to her. "I'm ok, girl..." She brushed herself off, still covered in dirt, but when was she not. She smiled, thinking about how much time she spend at the zoo with her parents and sister of course, at the zoo. She loved studying the big cats, mostly cheetahs, lions and leopards, as well as snakes, who were very interesting to her, and the zebras. She loved wild life, any animal had a special place in her heart. She spoke english, some african, little french (unlike her sister), and some greek.

The brunet tilted his head, blue eyes focused on the girl who had fallen. There was something in him that always sent him straight to the girls in need of help. Maybe he had some sort of hero complex that he didn't know about. Wait, super heroes wore those tight little spandex outfits. Hm... Maybe not a hero complex after all. He was just... helpful! Ha, yeah, no. No one ever thought that. Maybe he was better off not trying to figure out what he was and just focus on the pretty girl sitting there. Usually, people made friends by interacting with others rather than staring through them.
A smile stayed on his lips as she seemed to be able to laugh at herself. "Sense of humor is in tact, good sign. It appears, Miss, that you will be able to return home within a few hours." His voice was deep and playful, matching his eyes. Before he could unleash his lame pick up line, really just a ploy to get her to laugh, he heard another voice. He glanced over his shoulder, seeing a very tall blonde. Oh, no, she wasn't tall. He just happened to still be on the floor. Right. He rose to his feet, brushing off his knee which had some of the dust from the barn aisle. Judging by what she said, they were sisters. And how was he sure? Well, because she said "sis."
His brows raised. A pair of very pretty sisters. Oh, how so many guys he knew would be thrilled to be in this position. He grinned as she introduced both of them, using French. He raised a brow and smiled towards them both, eyes landing on the blonde as he spoke. "I'm very flattered that you're using the language of love for me, but I'm not that easy. You need to take me out to dinner first, at least," he teased with a playful wink. "But, it's nice to meet you guys. I'm Kevin "the stud,"" he replied with a grin. "Though, for some reason, people never say my full name," he added with a laugh.
As Nikita spoke to her mare, it occurred to Kevin that his gelding was still standing in the aisle. He raised his hand, pointing up his index finger to indicate he needed a moment, and dashed backwards to grab the dangling lead rope of the bay gelding. He patted his nose before leading him back over. "This is Versache "the stud for two years."" Versache snorted as though he understood the joke, bumping his nose lightly into Kevin's side.

Green eyes darted to her sister and almost wanted to frown for calling her "little sis". She was only a couple minutes behind her and plus the youngest always get spoiled, but that wasn't the truth she wasn't spoiled just previlege just like her sister. Audrey's green eyes followed the boy as he stood up from the ground. She did notice however her sister always seemed to get the guys while Audrey was just friends with them which was just fine with her. She watched as her sister went to go talk to her mare rather than talk to this handsome boy.
Audrey couldn't help but to let a chuckle escape her lips. The boy named Kevin "the stud" was a joker and ofcourse pretty outgoing and already knew that if nothing got in the way they could become great friends. Well I wouldn't call it love for you, but love for the language. She chuckled when the boy said people didn't use his full name and she really didn't understand why. He was quite cute and if it wasn't for her sister tripping over the crack they wouldn't be here right now talking. Maybe you should change it, wouldn't want false advertisement, she said with a slight chuckle as she watched the boy.
When the boy took a step back she looked over toward her sister and wanted to nudge her to get over here and talk to the boy, but ofcourse she was up to her elbows into her horse. Wouldn't she be doing the samething making sure that he was settled in and was scrapped up from the ride from the airport? Yes she would, but since she was talking to Kevin she knew Orion could wait. When green eyes turned back around a smile came across her face when she saw the bay gelding. She thought her mouth was going to fall to the floor, but somehow she kept it from falling and walked forward.Your correct about something, he is a "stud muffin".She grinned and held out her hand to the bay gelding.Do you mind if I pet him?She asked making sure it was okay for her to touch Kevin's horse before she did it. She knew a lot of people who horse's that looked like this were, what's that word? Cocky? Yes, that's the word about their horse's being touched by someone who was not in the same money range.

Nikita just rolled her eyes as her younger sister and Kevin talked. She picked up one of the two saddle bags before one bridle and the brush bag. Letting her younger sister talk to the boy, quite cute if she could say herself, Nik headed into the tackroom.
After a few trips to and from the tackroom, Nikita had finally finished putting her tack away. She rolled her eyes playfully at their back and forth comments. She smiled before speaking up," He's beautiful...." She laughed as a loud squeal erupted from Abikanile. "Yes Abi, you're beautiful too.." She rolled her eyes as her dark bay mare lifted er head proudly before tossing it and nickering at Versache. Her light blue eyes lit up as she spotted Orion. "Orion!" Niki jogged over to the dapple-grey gelding, stroking the tall 17'2 hh gelding on the neck. Suddenly, a idea popped into her head. "Hey Dree, you up for a trail ride? Abi and I need the excerise anyways and we can actually do something instead of just standing here. You can come too, if you want Kevin. Nikita smiled as she headed back over.

Kevin tilted his head to the right, raising an eyebrow to the blonde as she commented about her love for the language. But not love for him? That was crazy talk! Everyone loved him! At least, if it were his perfect world, that'd be true. Sadly, this was Canada. And as nice as Canada was, it wasn't perfect. Or else he'd have one girl on each arm. He suppressed a laugh at the outlandish thought. Two women? Why would he want two? He couldn't even commit to one, let alone two! Honestly, the thought sent chills down his spine. Maybe this was why guys paid attention to girls as they spoke- to avoid nightmares! Or, daymares... Instead of daydreams... Yep. He was just too clever. "You know, it's possible to love more than one thing," he commented with a rascally grin.
At her next comment, he raised an eyebrow and couldn't help but laugh. "Ah, you're one of those clever girls, huh? Oh, gosh, never mind, I shouldn't say clever and girl together. Wouldn't want false advertising." He winked playfully. Most girls he met would slap him into the Netherlands if he said that, not that it would stop him. He was just playing around anyways.
The reaction to his mount brought a proud smile over his lips. He had to admit that Versache was quite the looker. He was, after all, the best bred horse Kevin had ever met. Which was saying something, since his father was a breeder. But he had bred his very best mare to his champion stallion to get the colt for his son. If only Kevin hadn't been dumb enough to let that fall shake him so badly. By now, they could have been champions, too... As he thought about this, his eyes glazed over, focusing far beyond the two pretty girls in front of him. In an instance, the jumps were right there, he was settling into his two point, but then... The memory jolted him, the feeling of the fall sending him back to reality like waking up from a bad dream. He shook away the bad feelings, smiling at the two. "I'm sure he appreciates all the compliments. But shhh, don't let them get to his big head!" He patted the gelding softly. "And sure, you can pet him. He doesn't bite." He looked up at the huge gelding, about the size of the other two girls' horses. "I mean, I understand you ladies need to find something to keep your hands off of me," he added with a chuckle. "Go on, say hello," he instructed the gelding who didn't bother to move at all.
His eyes darted over to Nikita as she spoke. He grinned, realizing there weren't likely to be jumps on a trail ride. "Hey, yeah, that'd be fun. I'm up for it, and so is Versache."

A smile went across her lips as she looked at Kevin when he talked about loving more than one thing.Your right it is possiable to love more than one thing, but your just..how do I say it? She couldn't help but smile at him.Pas mon genre(not my type), I mean your cute but not a stud. She grinned at him as she began to stroke the bay gelding. She looked over to Niki who pretty much screamed out "Orion". Orion listed her large grey head and nickered out toward Niki as she stepped up to push his head out of the stall and into the girls chest.Audrey looked over to Kevin as he came back with a comment.Hahaha, your so funny, but if I was you I'd watch my back. You never know when a girl not so clever can pull a prank. She winked at him with a smile on her face.
Audrey watched Orion and Niki and smiled. She sure did love that gelding more than anything in the world and was so happy that she had the chance to bring him along. If it wasn't for sister Niki getting accepted they probley wouldn't be here right now. Maybe they still be in Africa working with their parents half of the time and the rest of the time at the barn. Audrey missed her parents and all her friends, but really she was glad to be somewhere else for a change. Audrey had dreams of seeing the world and how lucky she was to be in Canada. Even if it was freezing here and the time change was quite different. When Kevin started talking about his horse Versache she grinned.I don't think we will have to worry about him, it's you that I'm worried about. She grinned and kept on petting the geldings forehead.
Audrey turned her head as Niki called for her, Dree wasn't her favorte nickname, but that was what Niki called her when they was little and learning each other's name and it just stuck. Green eyes shone a smile as she shook her head.Yah, I bet Orion would like to streach his legs out.She quit petting Versache and took a step back.Just let me go get his things out of the trailer. She smiled and began to jog out of the barn.
To her surprise the trailer was gone, but all her things was sitting outside of the barn. Fire burned in her eyes toward the truck driver who had not waited for her to get her things before leaving. Audrey walked over and picked up one handle of the tack trunk as it had wheels and grabed the saddles off the top and began walking back into the barn. Their was still angry in her eyes, but she tried to lighten up. It was all her fault for getting distracted into talking to Kevin. She went to Orion's stall and set the tack trunk down and placed the two saddles on top. Audrey felt the soft muzzle hit her neck and she couldn't help but smile. Orion was more important that some stupid tack any day. She calmed down and took the lead and clipped it to his halter and stepped inside. She tied him up in the stall and began to take off his stable sheet.

Nikita grinned as both her sister and Kevin were happy to go on a trail. She headed towards Abi's stall and smiled as her dark bay mare nickered to her gently. " Ok Abikanile, Let's go for a trail ride, what'd you say, ol' girl..." Niki's light blue eyes brightened as the dark bay mare nickered and tossed her head as if to say' Do you even have to ask?' Niki chuckled before heading into the tackroom.
A few moments later, Nikita came out with a light brown Windtec saddle, a light brown english bridle and a light blue saddle pad. She left the mare into the stall, not even borthering to place a halter on the spirited throughbred mare. As she finished tacking up, Nikita checked her tack for cracks or tears. Spotting none, she sighed before tighening her helmet and leading the dark bay out of her stall. She stood in the aisle, waiting for her younger sister and new, hopefully, possibly friend to finish tacking.

Kevin shifted his weight, leaning back on his heels as his legs began to stiffen from the lack of movement he was doing by sitting here gabbing with the two girls. The two pretty girls. That clearly had no interest in him. His eyes twinkled at the thought. Oh, how he did like a challenge. But once he got the girl, what would he do? Sew dresses for her? Give her cookies? He wasn't totally sure. But the instinct within him made him love competition, challenges, all that awesome macho stuff that cute little girls just couldn't understand.
His brows furrowed as she spoke more French, trying to assess her words. And then he remembered he didn't know a lick of French. "I didn't follow that at all, but I did get from that you think I'm cute. How flattering," he chuckled, placing a hand on his hip and striking a pose. He could almost hear the music in his head blaring, I'm sexy and I know it. He totally was the one who wrote that song. Wasn't it just obvious?
His brows raised even more as the girl warned him to watch his back. "Ooooh, that is quite intimidating. Hey, when you go around my back and to my front, you can join me for dinner." He winked playfully before shrugging his shoulders as if to insist it certainly wasn't the worst idea in the world. His eyes darted over to the darker haired girl, noticing her lack of speaking. It seemed as though her sister were far more outgoing than she was. Interesting. Not that there were tons of sisters who were totally different.
He glanced back to Audrey, laughing as he place a large hand on the gelding's thick neck. "Yeah, well, Versache here is working on my biting problem, so don't worry," he commented with a teasing grin. "But if I were you ladies, I would be a bit scared being in the presence of such sexiness." He couldn't help but laugh at his own antics, knowing full well that wasn't true. He wasn't good looking enough to strike fear into women's hearts because they doubted their self control around him. But he decided to give up the thought for the time being since a ride awaited them. He nodded as the two ran off in their separate ways, leading Versache off to tie him. Kev went to grab his tack, choosing the all purpose English saddle instead of the jumping saddle he feared. Grabbing a matching black bride and white pad, he practically skipped back to the Oldenburg, tacking him up quickly.
After securing his helmet, he led Versache into the aisle again, noticing that Nikita had finished before Audrey. He halted Versache close to her and glanced over. "So, I'm guessing you're new here? Where are you from?" With the banter back and forth between himself and Audrey, he had barely had the chance to speak to the clumsy brunette.

Nikita looked over at Kevin before smirking," Originally or now?" Since she wanted to have some friend, she needed to get out of her shell and act a little like her sister.
Nikita shot her younger sister a look before leading Abi after Audie and Orion. She ran her stirrups down, tighened her girth and practically vaulted into the saddle from the ground. She smirked at her sister before doing up her helmet strap and flipping a copper strand behind her ear and picking up her reins.
" Are you coming, Kevin?" The 5'7 girl looked down at the boy, a smirk playing across her face.

Kevin studied the pretty blonde's face as she tried to play it off that she hadn't meant cute as a compliment. But last time he'd heard, girls loved puppies. So what was so wrong with being cute like a puppy? His brows furrowed as he thought over the concept, deciding the only thing wrong with that idea was the portion where commitment came into play. He pursed his lips then lightly blew through his nose, deciding that was the problem. And no guy he knew actually liked commitment. So what if some of the girls he had known called him a jerk and commitment phobe? There were worse things!
"I'm more of a cat person," he replied simply with a smirk as he tightened the gelding's girth one more time. The gelding snorted, obviously not thrilled with the black leather wrapped around his abdomen. Not that Kevin blamed him. His hand rose to his muscular stomach at the thought of such bondage before throwing that thought away as well. Oh the odd things that a mind could think!
His eyes focused on the pretty darker haired sister as she heard his question. Her reply seemed rather uncharacteristic for the girl, but what did he really know? He barely knew her! She just seemed much more timid than that. "How about both?" he replied with a soft smile, genuinely curious to hear about both Nikita and Audrey. It seemed as though their parents had used all their creativity to name the first daughter but didn't think as much outside the box for their second daughter. Though both names really were beautiful in their own ways. Wait, was he analyzing the prettiness of girls names? Oh, man, he needed some dude friends before his entire body filled with estrogen.
His head snapped to the right where Audrey and now Nikita, too, were waiting for him on their horses. When had that happened? Kevin planted his foot in the stirrup, glad to be so tall, and hoisted himself onto Versache's wide back. The gelding snorted before picking up a walk to catch up with the others. Kevin brought Versache in the middle between Nikita and Audrey, deciding he may send subliminal messages to the girls if he rode by one and not the other. He glanced to Audrey, uttering quietly, "The funny thing about invitations is that they're usually used to invite someone. Maybe I wouldn't mind the inviting invitation to be taken up." He grinned before settling into the saddle, looking straight ahead, though listening for either one of the girls to speak.
